Pronouns: They/Them

Hi, I’m Bri Wilmerding,

I’m Bri Wilmerding, a journalist and multimedia storyteller based in Atlanta. My work spans documentary and commercial filmmaking, photography, communications, and digital storytelling, with a focus on authentic stories about people and the places, communities, and environments that shape them.

Over the past seven years, I’ve worked across the full creative process—from research and story development to interviewing, field production, photography, editing, and final delivery. I’m especially drawn to stories rooted in conservation, outdoor recreation, environmental education, and the people doing meaningful work in these spaces.

Outside of work, I’m deeply rooted in my community. You can often find me biking through Grant Park, playing soccer, or on the court with the Trans Liberation Basketball League (TLBL). I’m also passionate about cooking and sharing meals with friends—So much in fact, that a passion project (a small hot sauce company named Ding’s Magic) of mine routinely brings me closer to those I love around me; Sometimes it’s through local sports sponsorship and at times that means creating silly hot sauce commercials with friends.

Whether it’s through film, photography, or simply connecting with others, I’m always looking for ways to tell stories that matter and build spaces where people feel seen.
